Java coffee



Coffee Java (Java coffee) is coffee from Java Island in Indonesia. This coffee is well known that the name Java becomes the identity name for coffee.

Coffee Java Indonesia does not have the same shape with coffee Sumatra and
Sulawesi, the taste is not too rich as the coffee from Sumatra or Sulawesi because most of Java coffee processed wet (wet process). Even so, some issuing Java coffee aroma of spices thin so that makes it better than other types of coffee. Java coffee has a low acidity combined with soil conditions, air temperature, weather, and humidity.

Java coffee is the most famous and Blawan Jampit. Java Coffee beans are old (so-called old-brown) in great shape, and low acid levels. [1]

This coffee with a strong flavor, thick, sweet coffee flavor. Java Arabica coffee production is centered in the middle of the Ijen Mountains, on the eastern tip of the island of Java, with a height of 1400 meter mountains. This coffee was first cultivated by the Dutch in the 18th century on a large estate.

In 1696 the mayor of Amsterdam Nicholas Witsen ordered the commander of the VOC in the Malabar Coast, Adrian van Ommen to bring coffee seedlings to Batavia, now called Jakarta. Coffee seeds are tested first on private land VOC Governor-General Willem van Outhoorn in the area now known as Pondok Kopi, East Jakarta. The first harvest of Java coffee, plantation crops in Pondok Kopi sent directly to Hortus Botanicus Amsterdam. Among biologists in the Hortus Botanicus Amsterdam amazed at the quality of Java coffee. According to them the quality and taste of the coffee that goes beyond Java coffee they had ever known. Scientists soon send a sample Java coffee to various botanical gardens in Europe. The Royal Botanic Gardens belonging to Louis XIV one who received sample Java coffee. French people soon multiply sample of the mail and send it to their colonies for cultivated land, including Central and South America. Finally, the world recognized the steady taste and rich aroma into the appeal of Java coffee. The coffee trade very profitable indeed VOC, but not for coffee farmers in Indonesia when it was due to both cultivation systems. Over time, the term A Cup of Java emerged in the western world, it is an impressive coffee Kopi Indonesia synonymous with Java, although there still are other such delicious coffee coffee coffee Sumatra and Sulawesi. Coffee grown in Central Java in general is Arabica coffee, while in East Java, Wood Mas, Blewan, and Jampit generally is Robusta. In mountainous areas of Jember to Banyuwangi there are lots of Arabica and Robusta coffee plantations. Jember is already known to the world as a coffee-producing areas of Java-quality and delicious. Production of Java coffee of the type of Arabica coffee is famous in the world has made many entrepreneurs Jawa successful trade coffee.
