The Different of Cappuccino, Café Late, and Flat White

Although all three looked similar, but these drinks are not at all alike.

CAPPUCINO, latte and flat white is the most common menu in the café or coffee shop. And third, in fact, equally composed of two basic composition, namely textured milk (milk-steam) and espresso.

Well, then what's the difference cappuccino, latte and flat white? The answer lies in how each drink is prepared, served and how well-trained baristanya because sometimes there are as good barista also udel say "just wrote tuh mba, mas" even though we are already protesting because we cappuccino latte message being presented. -Sorry, Sorry wrote for baristas (who reads this).

Although both are made from espresso and milk, but the difference is the number of third drink milk dose and the amount of foam that is added to the espresso. The amount of milk added to this would also affect the taste of beverages served. So therefore, once again, (taste) cappuccino, latte and flat white of course not the same. Consider the following differences:

CAPPUCINO

Cappuccino is a traditional Italian drink that is famous for its upper layer in the form Froth the milk-which is currently garnish with chocolate powder. However, what makes this drink to be typical rather than simply Froth milk alone. Anatomically possible, cappuccino can be divided into 3 parts:

∙ 1/3 espresso

∙ 1/3 steamed milk

∙ 1/3 milk Froth

So drink was said to be a cappuccino if he has the same dose for each composition (espresso, steamed milk, and milk Froth). To recognize whether it is a cappucino drink, you can feel somewhat firm foam when first sips, then followed by coffee with a strong milky flavor thereafter. Plus, cappucino usually do not wear art. Foam on cappuccino typically bold and thick.

LATTE

Latte is often summed up as coffee tend to be milky. And the assumption that it could be true, when compared with the cappuccino. The most fundamental key in making a latte is in the process of steaming milk. Generally, this process serves steaming milk for two things, namely heat the milk until it reaches a certain temperature in accordance with the desired AND to produce micro foam. In other words, in latte foam usually tend to be smooth and thick.

∙ Double shot of espresso (about 60 ml).

∙ milk-steam, usually nearly full cup.

∙ Micro foam only about 1 cm thick in the layers above it.

To mark whether it is a latte drinks, since the first sips of coffee you will instantly feel that feels so milky.

FLAT WHITE

Flat white is the subjective inclined drinks, and the variation depending on country or café where you visit (except Britain, which has a "blend" their own particular for flat white). Broadly speaking, the flat white is composed of textured milk and espresso. Some barista may use milk dose less than the latte.

Generally, flat white served with two variations:

∙ Without foam. This variation is most frequently used in many café where espresso (in a standard shot) combined with milk-steam.

∙ With foam. While this variation is fairly common is served primarily by specialist coffee shop. This method actually requires the expertise of baristanya, because at the time of its making textured milk, the barista should make micro foam that really subtle but taste.
